Bangladesh Premier League: Curtly Ambrose Joined BPL 2023 Commentary Panel
Another Caribbean Sir Curtly Ambrose arrived in Dhaka. West Indies legendary pacer Curtly Ambrose joined the commentary panel in Bangladesh Premier League – BPL 2023. Earlier another legendary cricketer, former coach of Bangladesh team Gordon Greenidge also came to Dhaka.
A video of Ambrose’s arrival in Dhaka has been posted on the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s official Facebook page. He will be the partner of Athar Ali-Shamim Ashraf Chowdhury in the ongoing BPL. In that BCB video, Ambrose said, ‘Not too long ago, they went on a tour of the West Indies. I commented then. They beat West Indies badly. There are some good cricketers here. I am looking forward to see how they do.’
Curtly Ambrose is considered one of the best fast bowlers of all time. He has taken 405 wickets in 98 Tests, 225 wickets in 176 ODIs. He bowled some of the most terrifying spells in cricket history.
Comilla Victorians and Sylhet Strikers are coming back to the field after a one-day break in the BPL on Monday at the Mirpur Home of Cricket. The excitement of Ambrose’s voice can be heard from this match. Khulna Tigers and Chittagong Challengers will play in the afternoon match on the same day.
